Publishing a video for inclusion with an email

Once you are happy with the content of a video and have saved it and previewed it, and you then want to publish it so that you can send it with an EngageOne™ Communicate email, select Make available in the Get My Video dropdown.

You are then prompted to specify an image to be used for the video thumbnail. This can either be from your Asset Library or from a local image file. If you select a local image file, it will be added to the Asset Library (and you can specify or create a folder for it).

Then click Make Available. The video is now published and available for inclusion with a Communicate email.

Note: Only Data Sources with a flat data structure can be used for video communications. See Using Data Sources for Video communications for further information.
Note: The same data source must be selected for the Video (using the Contacts tab) and for the email (also using the Contacts tab). If they do not match, the video will not be available to include in the email. Also, if a video that has been published subsequently has its data source changed, it will be blurred and has a message superimposed on it.

To view various statistics on videos (such as number of contacts, total time watched, etc.) see Statistics for a Video Communication.
